Customer Support

The IIJ Support Center is available for Operations Managers to receive support for the IIJ ID Service. Review the information in this section before contacting support. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for more information on errors.

Information IIJ needs to know when you make an inquiry
Basic information
  • Relevant Password Sync event logs
  • Environment running Password Sync (systeminfo.exe execution results, Active Directory version, etc.)
  • Version of Password Sync
  • Password Sync configuration file (config.yml)
    • *The secret.yml file contains confidential information. Do not send this file to the IIJ Support Center.
  • Password Sync installation directory
  • Whether using Directory Sync

Refer to "Customer Support" in the "IIJ ID Service Online Manual [For Administrators]" for information on the IIJ Support Center and authentication information that is needed when you make an inquiry.

[ Note ]

  • We do not provide support on implementing Password Sync or with creating individualized configurations. You must create configurations using this document as a reference.
  • IIJ will not be liable for any problems related to the use of older versions of Password Sync six months after the latest update is released. If you have any problems with Password Sync even after updating to the latest version, contact the IIJ Support Center as mentioned above.
  • Use of this service with the Windows Server OS and directory services that are no longer supported by Microsoft is not eligible for support.
