SLA

About the SLA

The IIJ DNS Platform Service sets up an SLA (service level agreement) only for those customers who have signed up for the premium plan.

Refer to "IIJ DNS Platform Service Individual Provisions" in "IIJ Internet Service Contract Clauses."

How to Calculate the SLA
IIJ DNS Platform Service

When monitoring of all the services that belong to the IIJ DNS Platform Service within the period is normal as a result of a five-minute-interval judgment, it is deemed that the operation of the IIJ DNS Platform Service is normal.

IIJ Managed DNS Service

The SLA is calculated based on the response from Managed DNS Servers (Refer to "Q. What is a Managed DNS Server?" in FAQs for more information on a Managed DNS Server).

With the IIJ Managed DNS Service, multiple Managed DNS Servers are assigned to a single contracted zone.

IIJ checks for a response to the zone every five minutes and deems that a state in which any of the multiple Managed DNS Servers can return a response is normal.

IIJ Traffic Management Service

With the IIJ Managed DNS Service, multiple DNS Servers are assigned to each contracted LB domain name.

IIJ checks for a response to the zone every five minutes and deems that a state in which any of the multiple DNS Servers can return a response is normal.

Reduced Payment

You can apply for reduction of the monthly payment in accordance with the SLA.
