SMS messages are sent to phone numbers to be registered while you are registering a device in the IIJ SmartKey app.

SMS messages are sent by using a mechanism of international SMS. Note the following points.

• Because SMS messages are relayed by various carriers over SMS routes for delivery, SMS messages may arrive late or not at all due to network issues, line conditions, or other carrier circumstances on the routes.

• SMS messages will not be delivered if "Receive International SMS Messages" is disabled on your cellphone.

• Some overseas carriers do not support communication carrier change information, which may result in SMS messages not being delivered over some routes (only if number portability is used).
