About Use Mail

Q. What is activation?

A.

Activation verifies the mail address to be used with DOX's mail extension (Use Mail) feature.
The account that has its mail address yet to be activated cannot use the Use Mail feature.
Please complete the activation by following the instructions in the message sent to the registered mail address.

Q. How do I receive activation mail?

A.

You receive activation mail when you register a mail address with your DOX account.
Select User Setting to register the mail address.
Your administrator, however, may have prevented the mail address registration in the User Setting.
Please contact your administrator to resolve the issue.

IDs are useful in identifying a particular mail message when reviewing the access log.

Q. Can I manually create the onetime URL to be attached to the mail?

A.

No, you cannot. Onetime URL is randomly generated by the system.

Q. What is read receipt mail?

A.

Read receipt mail notifies you when someone accesses the onetime URL you sent in your mail.
You may select to send a read receipt in User Setting or when you compose a message.

Q. Can I enable an invalid mail to be valid again?

A.

No, you cannot. Please recreate a mail message.
You may still review the access log of the invalid mail.

Q. I received a mail via SMX as a file with an .eml extension that I cannot open.

A.

A compatible mail application is usually required to open an .eml format file, but it can also be opened using a text editor such as Notepad.
Save the .eml format file to your desktop and open it after launching a text editor, or right-click the file and point to "Open with", then select a text editor.
