Q. I received a mail via SMX as a file with an .eml extension that I cannot open.

A.

A compatible mail application is usually required to open an .eml format file, but it can also be opened using a text editor such as Notepad.
Save the .eml format file to your desktop and open it after launching a text editor, or right-click the file and point to "Open with", then select a text editor.
