Email One-time Password Authentication

This authentication method includes password authentication followed by authentication via a one-time password sent by the IIJ ID Service to the configured notification email address.

Refer to "Enabling Multi-factor Authentication as the User Login Rule" for more information on configuration.

[ Note ]

  • If filtering or rate limiting has been configured for your email server, configure the settings to ensure that emails from the IIJ ID Service will be received without fail.
  • If you use an email server (Outlook, etc.) whose settings you cannot change, it is recommended that you set an additional email address with a different email server. Refer to "Editing Users" for more information on how to set a notification email address for a user.
