Removing Users’ SmartKey Linkage

This section describes the procedure to remove a user’s SmartKey Linkage.

This function is available only if the Multi-Factor Authentication Option is in use.

When SmartKey Linkage are removed, users can no longer use the IIJ SmartKey app for multi-factor authentication.To use multi-factor authentication again, those users need to register SmartKey Linkage again.

Refer to “Registering SmartKey Authentication Information” in the IIJ ID Service Manual [For Users] for more information on registering SmartKey authentication again.

  1. Click "Account" and then "User Management.
  2. Click “Edit” for the user to remove a SmartKey Linkage from.
  3. Click “Remove SmartKey Linkage.”
  4. Confirm the information and then click "Remove."
