Creating Applications in AD FS 2016
- Click the "Windows" button and start "AD FS Management."
- Click "Application Groups."
- Click "Add Application Group."
- Configure "Name" with the name of the application group, select "Server application" under "Standalone applications," and then click "Next."
Configure "Redirect URI" with the correct address and then click "Add." Click "Next."

Because the correct redirect URI cannot be retrieved at this point, configure "Redirect URI" with a provisional value, such as http://localhost.
Select "Generate a shared secret," verify and copy the "secret" value, and then click "Next."

The "secret" will be used in later steps. Make sure to copy and keep this value.
Verify and copy the "identifier" and then click "Next."
